Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

1 Answer

I'm trying to print a photo I have saved in my computer. My printer keeps saying "please insert card". I've tried unplugging everything and starting over, but it still gives me the same message. A few minutes ago it printed from my computer fine, but I changed the cartridge, printed the alignment page and now I get this message.

Most printers are supplied with some sort of maintenance software; check to see if they have a help section as part of the software that accompanied the unit.

My computer shows pics are downloading to my HP A526 photo printer but the printer tells me to insert memory card. What do I do?

Make sure that the printing action is selected only for the right configuration and setting including the format and file type. If the file is too large to be printed it can show up as a error or an insufficient memory to back up. Alternatively you can check with another PC or reinstall the printer once again.

I have a Dell P703 and want to scan photos to a flash drive but the printer will not, it keeps asking for a memory card when I insert a memory care I receive the message "Please insert memory...

I'm not so sure that this printer supports scanning photos to a flash drive. If you take a look at the user guide, the only advice given about scanning problems is that they want you to make sure the printer is attached to your computer properly.

This leads me to believe that what you are trying to do is not supported. The USB por that is available is most likely used to plug in a camera directly so that pictures can be copied from it and printed.

I have an epson stylus TX110 and it was printing fine today, but then as is sent a job from adobe it prepared to print (made usual noises) but then didnt take any paper and just went quiet. I've tried...

Try purging your temp files. If it's a usb connection try a different usb port. Since it can print from scan and do a test nozzle print then it's not getting data from the pc to the printer. If a different port doesn't work either, and if purging your temp files doesn't work try it on a different computer if possible. You may need to reinstall the driver for it.

oh and make sure you don't end up with one of those 'oh duh' moments :) ... check both ends of the cable to make sure it didn't become loose or unplugged :)

New sd card, when putting it into my hp 8250 the printer says "card access error". I need the photos that are on the card!

Try downloading the photos off the SD card by inserting the SD card into anUSB card reader and connecting it to a computer's USB port.
This computer should detect the SD card as an external storage device, then you can copy the photo from the SD card to your computer's hard disk.

No card to insert

Hi there
It looking for a memory right and as you say you not got a card it looking for this because it is trying to save it to the card you will have to look in your printer driver there may be a settings there you need to change and also look on the printer it self in the menu.

The memory card contains more than 2000 photos. The HP Photosmart 7550 printer can only read up to 2000 photos at once.

Save the photos to a computer and access them from there.

The printer thinks it got a card inserted so maybe it worth a try power off the printer and take plug out and leave foe 1 hour then put back on see if it may reset the memory.
Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

Printer keeps saying insert memory card

The message is not an error message and does not indicate an issue with the product. The message is designed to be an invitation to print photos from a memory card. Follow these steps to insert a memory card into the product.
