When the drive motor and/or impeller motor move you can assume the power supply and cable/electric connections are ok. Whether the unit is in or out of warranty you can either send it to a service center (which we are one) or try to repair it yourself. The motor unit for that cleaner is about $400 and when installed by a non-service center does not come with a warranty so you are better off sending it in for a complete diagnosis and estimate. Driver side power window won t go up

A wire is usually broken in the hinge area. You can make it go up temporarily using a common 9 volt battery and alligator clips directly on the motor reverse polarity to reverse direction.

I have a 2005 magnum front passenger window won't come down all other windows work properly I replaced the motor and it rolled up and stayed there won't come down I Cleand the connection nothi

Did you try direct 12vdc power to motor wires ? Reverse polarity should change direction of motor, then you'll know it's switch related or whatever. Did old motor do same? The switch reverses polarity, or is supposed to. If a motor goes in one direction, when wired backward ( reverse polarity) it should go opposite direction. That tells you motor is fine.

Garage door won't go down all the way and then reverses to open

Check that the wheels and bearings are turning freely and that the door is not cocking to one side when closing. If the wheels are catching because of bad bearings, because the tracks are out of true or because the door is not staying straight in the tracks, the motor thinks that the door is hitting a car or a person and reverses. One thing to try: disengage the motor and try moving the door through the full traverse. Most automatic doors have a pull-cord that disengages the door from the motor. CAUTION: You may need a friend to help with the door, because it could be surprisingly heavy,.

I have a Whirlpool super capacity 465 gas oven that won't stay lit. It often lights up the first time just fine but then it turns off which is normal but when it tries to relight itself the ignitor...

That sound to me like yall have some carbon buildup on the igniter. On this stove the igniter does 2 jobs. It lights the burner and verifies back to the control that Houston we has ignition. If junk is built up on that ignitor then she won't be sending verification of ignition back to the control. That white residue needs to be removed. NOTE: I don't have your model number I am going by what you describe that this stove is a Direct spark ignition model. If you have a normal ignitor it probably is weak and not drawing 3.5 amps to open the valve. Post a model number (bottom drawer frame)

I HAVE A UPSTAIRS UNIT AND A DOWNSTAIRS UNIT AND BOTH HAVE THE FANS TURNING THE WRONG DIRECTION, AND A REPAIR MAN TOLD ME YOU COULDNT REVERSE IT BY SWITCHING THE WIRES AND JUST SCRATCHED HIS HEAD PLEASE...

Swapping wires won't reverse an OEM motor. The only way to reverse the motor is to change the field. Take the motor apart and flip the armature to the other side and she will go in the other direction but if the motor don't go back together right then it will pole out and lock up. Lots of trouble trying that one. Now some generic motors have provisions to reverse direction by swapping around some shorted designated wires that are added specifically for that purpose. If that is OEM it won't have those wires. One thing you could do is get some new blades that turn in the direction you desire and are the same size and pitch..

Our fan is going in the reverse direction...how do we switch it?

mcdevito75 here, Generally, The Fan switch itself is a pull chain type switch on the fan motor itself, this is a fan speed switch, NOW! also generally the reverse fan swtich is another shorter pull chain switch just about an inch away from the Fan Speed switch or the longer pull chain switch on the fan motor. This reverse switch can also be a toggle type or slide type switch but will be close to the fan speed switch on the fan motor itself.

Machine won't go into reverse

What model machine are we talking about here? If it is a Designer 1, Reverse doesn't show up on the screen. You need to hit the Reverse button twice in succession, the button stays lit up, and the machine should sew in reverse until you hit Reverse again or change stitch.

When a reverse arrow shows on the screen, it is usually when a programmable stitch is selected and you need to hit Reverse to complete the programmed task.

Get back with more detail on your machine and the problem, and maybe I can offer some more specific help.
