It is fairly easy to take apart, do you have the rebuild kit? Don't even bother taking it apart if you don't. it is not one or 2 O-rings, it is all of them. And a few gaskets to boot. The head is basically what you need done, the trigger is separate and rarely needs work.Take the top, pull out the valve pull out the piston, replace the big O-ring on the piston, make sure the drive pin is not chipped, clean out the cylinder, oil he ring, put it back in, do the valve, a couple O-rings, grease, gasket on the top, and the big plastic thing should be in there, and you should be all set. maybe a couple parts in there I missed, but you will see it when it is open. If the gun doesn't work, It could be the trigger, you will have to do that too. get the kit for that, most home depots carry the kits or just go to porter cable .com and see what they got on line. Senco used to sell the parts separate, but it was easier to make the kits, package them and offer them to owners for do it yourself repair. I had every gun ever made in my shop down south, and we settled on the Senco, it was the most powerful, and the best all a round, and the nails all came from one source. So, check it out, hope this helps.

How do I release the trigger lock on a brand new porter cable nail gun

Are you depressing the nose of the nail gun against the material to be nailed first? Without doing this, the trigger will not "unlock". You can read a pretty in-depth review of this nail gun at OnlineToolReviews com Porter Cable FR350A Full Round Head Framing... which might also help.

Can My FC 350 A used 28 degree nails

The manual for your gun specifies 34-degree nails from 2 to 3 1/2 inches long. 28-degree, wire collated nails are a Stanley-Bostitch thing and they only work in their nail guns, they will not work in your nail gun. You need 34-degree, paper-tape collated nails. I know Senco framing nails will work in your gun and I think Duo-fast makes 34-drgree nails but check that before buying them.

Was trying to reload nails into my FC350A nailer. My hand slipped and the nail pusher slammed forward. Now I can't move the pusher to add more nails. What's wrong...nothing seems broken

Framing guns are a pain in the ****. It's the coil. Sounds like it broke free or jammed. Only solution is to take it apart. Take your time , not to difficult.

I have a Porter cable 18 gauge nail gun. I think that a seal is blown because when you try to make it set a nail it just exhausts air. I took the top off and checked the seals but i could not see any...

Check the parts breakdown for your model and see if seal #894737 is listed. This seal is cause of problem that you describe. It is included in the rebuild kit or available separately. If this seal is not listed, then problem is fine scratches on oring contact surfaces in head. Use magnify glass to examine surface and remove fine scratches with 400 grit paper. Apply silicone paste lube to all surfaces that contact orings and seals. (Silicone lube is available at Lowes in plumbing department, used for faucet orings). Parts for gun are available at Dewalt service center or at www.toolpartsdirect.com. Good luck with your repair.

Brad nailer not firing nail...can hear brief air noise upon pulling the trigger

Porter cable makes a number of brad nailers (18 gauge) that very quickly suffer from the problem that you are having. You did not mention the model number of your gun but if it is one of these, (bn125a, bn200a, ns100a) kit # 60061 will fix the problem. It costs between 25 and 30 dollars. Google that part number or order from www.dewalt.com. Dewalt owns the porter cable brand. Before you order the kit, check that the driver blade is not bent and stuck. The driver should travel freely down the cylinder. When you install parts, use Danco silicone grease to lube (availabel at Lowes in the plumbing department) If your model # is different from those mentioned above, please email me and I will recommend a repair.
