HI. This will be an issue that concerns the actaul motor controller unit. If possible, I will need you to post the entire model number that is associated with this unit, asap. This number will allow me to retrieve the part number needed and provide the necessary service manual, also. Post this much needed information, asap...

    Quick question:

During the spin attempt; Will the unit try to spin off with motor stress noise or does it completely stop the cycle when it reaches the spin interval?

  • david javier Aug 21, 2010

    JUST STOPS NO NOISE

Ok, if the motor just stops with no further attempt to spin or rinse, this will lead to the spin safety switch(lid switch). This switch is a basic safety switch that provides an open circuit if the lid is not closed, properly. Lets start by testing this switch to isolate it as the lone culprit. The switch testing procedure can be found on page 7-12 in the manual provided below. Your unit will not have a motor controller unit. It is not needed in this model. Test the lid switch as directed and let me know the results.

You will need a multimeter to preform the test, properly

Will not fill with water but works on spin cycle

If your washer won't fill with water, but works in the spin cycle then the washer is sensing that water is in the tub. If there isn't water in the tub, then it is probably a sensor. If there is water but the spin cycle doesn't get it out, then look at the pump or control board.
