Question about Sony KV-35V36 35" TV
Most common problem with this set is Horz. Sweep transistor shorts; also two reg transistors in power supply and .1 ohm resistor near them.
It is sometimes caused when set shuts off and you turn it back on by bad solder connections at Horz. driver transformer.
To be honest, even with generic parts the repair will be well over 150 dollars--set may be too old to make this kind of investment in: some parts for it are no longer available and if you fix you run the risk something else may fail and the part be unavailable etc.
I do not like giving bad news--these were great sets but I am being truthful here.
