Hello,
Before jumping to conclusions about why your refrigerator is
leaking, do a thorough inspection. Many times, it will be easy to see
where the water is coming from and from that point deduce the problem.
For instance, water leaking from the back is usually due to an ice maker
issue, water from the side of the refrigerator is usually due to a
faulty door or gasket, a leaking drain pan,a clogged defrost drain pan.
You need to clean the drain tube and check the ice maker and refrigerator level for water inside the refrigerator.
Take care.
Hello,
I think the leakage is from the ice maker. A small leak in the ice maker can be due to a crumpled water line, while
a substantially large amount of leakage could be due to a major failure
of any part. In either case, check whether the refrigerator and ice
maker are leveled or not. If you notice any component is malfunctioning,
get it replaced immediately.

Normally on the older models the door seals start to fail. If that happens, condesation builds up in the fridge and water starts building up. You will not always be able to see exactly where the seals are perished, but once changed, your problem should be solved. Hope this helps

This is all well & good but we cannot find a drain tube inside the fridge or a drain pan or a defrost drain ppan . We turned off the ice maker, it is dripping at the back of the fridge just under the freezer. We can't find a way to get into that area.
It is none of these problems. We can actually see the water dripping in the back of the fridge just below the freezer.
