There are a few possibities...
if you remove the lid and take the two t20 screw off the left side panel at the front you could check the pressure chamber and its hose are not blocked. Use the link and go to page 4, part 0426 and 0424. You can also remove 0418 (remove t20 screw via the sump after all filters are removed) this will expose the pump impellor and you can check for any obstruction. If the d/w is connected via a sealed spigot to the sink, remove the grey hose and unscrew the spigot adaptor from the sink and ensure there are no blockages. There may be water in the base of the d/w (base as below the tank, not under the filter) this will activate the flood safety, so check valve, hoses etc for leaks. You will have to manually clear the water from the base pan to deactivate the safety device. Sit the front of the d/w on a large towel and tip the whole unit forward, the base water will then come out. Whilst you have the side panel off, check that the red rod connected to the pressure chamber is not activating the microswitch.

ps I appreciate that this link is not your model but the part placing should be similar.
I hope this helps, Good Luck.

How to fix a bosch dishwasher?

Run away. It is not a do-it-yourself project, as these machines are complicated beyond normal reason... Call a technician, trust me.

Motor runs with door open. No water in pan.

Sounds to me like there may be water in the moisture sensor. Your dishwasher is probably leaking and the noise you hear is the drain pump activated.

As I turn the unit on, it sounds like the dishwasher is starting but no water is being dispensed. Any thoughts?

Hi,

The most likely reason is the float switch (anti-flood protection system) has been tripped and the noise you can hear is the drain pump running continuously despite the washer being empty. If this noise continues even with the door open, it's definitely the float switch. This could be a faulty switch, a stuck float, or water may have leaked into the bottom of the machine below the tub.

It would help if you could specify a model number as the flood-protection components vary between models. If you don't know the model number, you should be able to find it laser-etched at the top of the stainless-steel inner door.

Hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please specify a model number and whether the washer seems to be "running" with the door open.

When my Bosch classixx diswasher door is open the pump continues to run. I took off the bottom panel and there is a styrofoam disk sitting in the base. Is this responsible for the shut off? Initially there...

Hello
Have a look at your door switch that its not jam'd up or there is a wire off, this switch will shut the pump off when opening the door
Thanks

Bosch SHU runs even when the door is open, what do i need?

Hi Jeffrey,

This depends what you mean by "runs". If the dishwasher continues with a wash cycle - i.e. circulating water - with the door open, the simple answer is that you have a defective door microswitch.

However, I suspect what you perceive to be the dishwasher running, is actually the drain pump running continuously. This happens when the anti-flood protection system has been activated and continues even when the door is opened. The simplest way to check is to open the door (while it's "running") and pour some water into the tub. If the water drains away immediately, this shows the drain pump is running and the anti-flood protection has been activated.

This may be due to water having leaked into the base of the dishwasher, but it could be as simple as a stuck or defective float-switch.

Please try the simple test above then post back for further assistance. If you're planning to investigate or repair this yourself, you're going to need a Torx T20 screwdriver and a multi-meter would be useful as well.

I have a Bosh Logic dishwasher SGS65L12GB/04 The other day it got to 1 min left and would not stop pumping out water and continued even with the door open. After 5 mins playing around it started working...

Hi Jonathan,

Welcome to FixYa.

Your float may have got stuck or it's possible that you have water leaking into the bottom of the washer. In the bottom of the wash compartment, next to the drain you will find a plastic dome/mushroom (the float). You might need to rotate the bottom spray arm to see it.

Turn the washer on so that the pump starts to run, open the door and push down on the float. This should stop the pump running. When you let go of the float, if it rises back up on its own, then it's almost certain that you have water in the bottom of the washer. If this is the case please post back for further assistance. If the float stays down, then it may have simply got stuck.

Please try this simple test and post back with the results.

Regards,
BElectric

Can I continue to run my dishwasher with a broken

It is not advisable as if the door is even slightly open you will get damp and steam condensation entering the fascia panel which will eventually blow the module. Bite the bullet and change latch rather than an expensive control module.
All the best.

My Bosch SHV46C dishwasher keeps running, even when the door is open, unless you turn the control switch off. Then, when you turn the switch on, it starts running again.

I have a Bosch that was stuck in pump down mode even when the door was open.
The problem ended up being too much water in the drip pan below the unit. There is a float in the drip pan that actuates the same limit switch as the internal overfilled float.
I had recently cleaned the incoming water filter and must have loosened the water line tube.
