Hello there.

At a first guess, i would say you have the video quality settings on the camera too high. These new cameras and video recorders can store very high definition images and at the highest setting a laptop will have trouble playing the footage back without skipping or artifacting.

I would recommend checking the camera settings and lowering the resolution to something more manageable.

If you are unsure of this please write back.

Hope this helps.

Why does my monitor lose its signal all the time?

Baby monitors are not the top of the food chain when it comes to reliability which is strange seeing what it is used for. There is something interfering with the wireless. See if you can track it to what device. Microwave with screw with this as well as something as small as a smart phone. The constant updating of aps to the phone is a real bugger. Wireless internet is another thing to look at. Seeing how radio waves are everywhere it is not a guarantee but try removing everything from between the monitor and your camera that would have radio frequency.

How do I change the input from the DVI-I input to the 15

I found the online manual and followed the instructions to set to "auto" input. Everything works fine.
It had been a discouraging ordeal trying to locate a new DVI cable (which came with the projector)
and as it turns out the 15 pin cable works fine. Thank you.

Pixelated screen on sanyo plvz2

Hi focushere

This could only be one of two things - either the cable that will need replacement or the Mainboard of the Projector.

Try using a different cable first , in other words a new DVI cable.

If this doesn't fix the problem ( which I'm sure is going to ) you will have to get the Mainboard repaired at a Service Provider.

Epson Powerlite 1815p screen projector - DVD playback video jerkiness when there is motion in the video

Hi,

I am assuming that the DVD plays normally on the display of the Dell 745.

Then the issue(s) may be with the:
1. Networking configuration/set-up of the Dell and/or the Epson;
2. ethernet cable;
3. configuration/set-up of the projector or the Epson itself.

A couple of things you can try:
1. Optimize your networking throughput.
1.1 Increase your PCI Latency Timer to 128 or 255 in the Dell's BIOS/CMOS setup (if present);
1.2 Try running DRTCP.exe and/or TCPOptimizer.exe appropriate to the Dell's OS;
1.3 Disable all other networking activities on the Dell. This may include auto updates, security/antivirus checks, etc. while running the DVD;
1.4 Slim down Dell's startup programs to bare minimum;
1.5 Increase your OS' swap file to roughly double your onboard memory
2. Try running a hub midway between the Dell and the Epson.
3. Verify that it is not the Epson that is problematic by playing a video source to the projector’s Video or S-Video port. If it is, then you have narrowed down the problem to the playing capability of the Epson.

Alternately if all else fails, perhaps you can try using:
1. a DVD player to the projector’s Video or S-Video port; and/or
2. a USB external DVD drive or a CompactFlash card (with a copy of the movie) direct to the 1815p
while settling the main issue.

Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
