There are so many variables about how the TV is hooked up. It could be hooked straight up to cable or a cable box, satellite receiver,or antenna. The point is it's not hard to reprogram if you know how it's hooked up. If you did wipe out the channels it should not be a big deal to set them back up.

Lg 42" tv not displaying screen image

The t-con board controls the picture. To test it shine a flash light on the screen abd see if you can see an image when the TV is on. If you do then the T-con board is OK. Look at the back light ballast board (sometimes is part of the power supply board) If you see no movement or a dim picture with the flash light, then the T-con board is gone. You need to find a way to change the input back to TV. There may be an "INPUT" button on the TV itself, and/or a button on the remote. Use either to scroll through the options back to "TV".

I have a philips big screen tv model# 60P8342A and when I turn it on I can hear the sizzeling noise from when a tv is turned on but the screen is all black. What may be wrong with it and how can I fix it?

Do you mean sizzling from a certain area, like where the on off switch or mains input socket is, if so may be nothing more than a solder connection, If you know someone good with soldering , but be warned disconnect from mains and be careful, had a sizzling problem recently , turned out to be bed connection on mains socket.

Help!!!!! I'm housesitting and cannot get the Fujitsu flatscreen to turn on. I've changed the remote batteries, but the red standby button the the left bottom of the TV screen keeps blinking. Can you help...

1. Try using the on/off switch that is on the TV itself and use the other buttons on the TV for sound and channel etc.

2. You might need to try a replacement remote.

3. On some remotes you need to press the "TV" button and, then, the power switch on the remote.

Housesitting. RTH111B model. I cannot keep the

That is a NONprogramable T-stat. There is no program to overide, therefore there is no need for a "hold" option. To set the temp, place the switch on the side marked

to the desired setting, and push the up down arrows on the front until the display shows 80.

The DISPLAY will revert back to the current room temperature within a few seconds, and will keep the unit on until it reaches the desired temp.

The set temperature remains at 80, it just shows the current room temp.

Guide plus flashes on the t.v.. how do you turn it off

you are that clear

but if you are talking about flashes on the t.v then it is due to sparking is taking place in your plug & socket.

if it is ok then there is a sparking in high voltage section in tv which is called fly back section.

good luck.
