You could have a tripped breaker on your 220 breaker(two breakers beside each other) or one of your thermal cutoffs is bad or your element, or you have an obstruction in your vent. Good luck!

My space saver dryer will not get hot ,everything else works fine

If everything else works, but not heating, than the problem is either:
Clogged air ducts
or
Heating element needs to be replaced.

Kenmore Elite He3 electrical dryer runs but it does not heat up

odd but it worked for me!! Try resetting the circuit breaker. It will not appear to have blown, this is because only 1/2 the breaker needs resetting, This is much cheaper to try before calling for service or parts. My 2002 E3t has only had this problem once and the resetting worked without further issues for 2 years now. Good luck

Heats up but not drying!!

The Vent is CLOGGED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TRUST ME
There is no other possible reason for the dryer taking a long time to dry other than vent restrictions or just poorly built duct.
DO NOT RUN THE DRYER WITH THE DOOR OPEN
Not only can it damage the dryer it can catch fire!!!
