When unhooking washer hoses from the washer or the wall supply, whether moving to a new home or working on your washing machine, always change the rubber seals where the hoses connect. The seals could have been overtightened causing them to tear slightly but could have sealed for years. Now that the hoses have been taken off they may not seal correctly and even a leaking drip from them can cause a big water problem in your home. ALSO, the rubber hoses that you can buy and the ones that come with your washer are usually labeled to change either within 3yrs. or 5yrs.. These hoses are prone to burst and I have customers that told me the horror stories of a faucet being turned on in their home. It is not pretty. Replace these hoses with either a nylon or steel braided hose for added assurance they do not burst before the time specified.
This is happening all the time, your maytag is really a whirlpool! They are playing the name game, they buy names so when your maytag dies at 2 years you go buy a whirlpool or a amana, or a kitchen aid or frigedare or kenmore and guess what they are all whirlpools inside. Bad business, I can only suggest you buy a GE or Fisher & paykel, I have had great luck with both brands as far as customer service and performance goes.
Decided to reduce amount of detergent to 1/2 of the called for amount for the load size as per our conversation with the washer manufacturer. They told us that this should make for more success in handling the sudsing problem which resulted when the called for amount of detergent was utilized. The website was accessed after the posting on Fix Ya.
Best Buy does their best to try and resolve your problems. But if they aren't doing enough, call the LG customer service line @ 18002430000 and they can refer you to an authorized LG servicer in your area.
Ok here is what you do.
Unplug it for at least an hour. That means pul the plug out of the socket.
If it does not work I would advice to use the warranty of the machine. Call the store and let them replace it.
If you do not have waranty come back to me
