Question about Garden
I see you posted this a long time ago but maybe someone else is having this problem and needs this fix. I had the same problem and came across this solution accidentally. Although not a permanent fix, if the blades are off and the parking brake in lock position, you can start normally. After starting, unplug the electrical connection under the foot pedal bar located under the chassis, on the right side middle. Then go to left side and unplug the electrical connection on that side in about the same place. Both connections are above the deck but below the chassis. I pull the cords up and loop through the hole in the chassis they come from to hold in place. You can then operate the parking brake and mower deck after doing this. These must be plugged back in upon restarting.

Check the under seat switch.
Also there is a switch on the LH brake pedal.
Also, there is a switch (apparently) on the blades engage lever.
Details of these I am unsure, but mine will not start without the brake depressed and the blade engage pulled aft(if left with no aft pressure on lever, it will not turn over)
