An F1 is a control board fault code. You'll want to check and make sure all the connections are tight and connected. Wiggle pull out and reinstall plugs. If problem persist you will need to replace the control board about a $100.00 part. You will only get a warrenty if a service company preforms the work.

What's f1 code

Sylvio,
What brand and model is your dryer? If you put it in, it did not come through with your question. Different manufacturers have different coding systems so there is not a generic answer, that is why we need the brand and model of your unit.

How do I stop the F1 error even after assessing there is no water in the bottom tray and dried it with hair dryer just in case

There should be F1 on both displays. "If power fails to the bottom tub it will cause the top tub to go F1. Test heater plate." (from the service manual).
If there is F1 on both displays it could be a faulty flood switch or PCB.

We have an electrolux Wascator T3530 . It is showing a fault F1 on the display. What does this mean?

First thing you can try is to unplug the dryer for fifteen minutes or so. If that still bring up the error code then it is your board inside your dryer.

My bravo steam dryer is showing an F1 code, and I can't get it to start

this is a control board issue, you may be able to clear the fault using these steps:

1) Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.

2) Plug the dryer back in or turn the breaker back on.

3) Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the "PF" in the display.

4) Start a short cycle to check the operation of the machine by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the machine starts.

If it will not clear then you will need to replace the control board, Good Luck Tim

What does "F1" mean? The oven is out!

I think f1 is a problem with the oven control board. Look on the back of the oven for a tech sheet and it will tell you what the codes mean and what to check.
