To reset the Lamp counter in Z52DC2D, Hold the "Mute" button on the REMOTE and the "Input/Enter" button on the TV front together for 8-12secs, this will bring up the reset menu on tv screen. Select the lamp reset and press "enter.
Hope these info will help you.

Let me explain again, we do reset lamp hours that way.
Press and hold mute button on remote, don't release that button, keep pressing and make sure tv is getting mute signal all the time now press and hod Input/Enter button
TV is getting now mute signal from remote and Enter signal from front button, press both buttons for at least 10-12 seconds at same time, lamp hour reset menu will pop up on tv screen regardless of tv is switch to AV-1 or some thing.
That is the procedure to reset lamp hours. Ask help from local tv repair shop if problem does not solve.

No, its just annoying message of reset lamp hours that comes on screen again and again.
It will not hurt on lamp performance.

Ok thanks. I tried it again it just wont work. The input button over rules the mute and switches to another input,it stays muted but nothing happens.I held them down for at least 30 sec and nothing pops up. If i hold mute and menu down an enter password comes up but have no idea what it is,tried evrything.Any ideas on if that might be it?
