Question about Wurlitzer Jukebox 1015 One More Time 100-Disc CD Changer

1 Answer

I have a Wurlizter 12CE 184/F91 OMT (that's what is says on the manual) and I have been having major issues. It wasn't working so I had a gentleman come out and take a look at it. We had a bad gripper motor which he replaced and it worked fine. Then about a month later the cd's just stopped spinning. He came back out again and to his best knowledge we needed to replace our player, so we did. And now we are having the same issue. It played for a week or so no problem and then now either the cd's won't spin at all or if we do get it to play it will stop spinning mid song. We have shut it off for a bit and then when we turn it on it plays again, but now for long.

I spoke to my local repair guy and he said that nothing would be getting power if this were true. The box is picking up the correct cd and the computer and the lifting arm all work correctly, it is just that the cd will not spin. He thinks it may be the control board beneath the player, does this sound correct?

Something is wrong with the power source - it delivers a too high voltage that overstresses the components and they fail. Test it and replaced it if necessary.

Yes, a defective control board would be unable to control the motor of the cd unit. But a failed board can't fry several parts repeatedly, only a defective power source can. And tell to that repair guy that the source can work even if the voltages that it delivers are off normal values

Why is door locked and will not self-clean?

Hey Kimberly, thank you for your inquiry!
I understand that the door on your Frigidaire range is locked and it will not start a self-clean cycle, it is also displaying an error code of "F91". The "F91" error code means that the door has exceeded maximum oven door unlock time. This means you could be experiencing an issue with your door latch, control panel, or a miscommunication within the range. To clear out a miscommunication within your range you need to disconnect power from it for at least ten minutes. I hope that this information is helpful to you. -Matt

My Box Was Damaged in shipping, Where can I buy Replacement Plastics and Bubble Tubes.

If you google for "cd jukebox parts" you can find a list of suppliers of all kinds of jukeboxes. You check with a few that work for Wurlitzer and I think you can find what you need.

I purchased a used Wurlitzer 1015, question When selecting number 51 is a code number 82 and does not play can you explain me this, what the problem is thanks

The number of Cds in the carousel can be set on the Credit unit to stop it playing fresh air if for example you only have 50 Cds and not a whole 100. Sounds like yours is set to 50 so won't play anything over 50.
I 'think' this is what you do.
On the computer credit unit...
Service Switch ON...Press LT button.
Press 5 on the keyboard once.
Enter 0000
Service Switch off.
Press LT or turn machine off/on.

Where can I buy a new keypad for omt 1015

Hello,

You do not state which OMT 1015 you have. i.e. Wurlizter, Rowe Ami, Rock Ola, Antique Apperatus or Sound Leisure in the UK.

If you are in the USA I would check out www.victoryglass.com or www.happ.com
