Question about Sentry Fireproof Safe

My younger brother tried to pick the lock on my sentry h2300 safe and now the lock is broken and I cant use the key to open the safe.

The problem is in the latch so one solution is to sit on the box, squeeze the latch and it opens. Voila!! Stupid R&D!

no if you turn your lock box around so your key is facing away from you and place your right hand on the side top and your left hand on the box and push the lid to the right a good inch and a half and lift the box will open no problem key or no key. this is a very poorly made safe

try taking it to a lock smith. Most can pick it open. and make you a new key.

Lost key sentry model 1170, where can I get a duplicate key?.


A locksmith can fit keys the the sentry safe 1170. Sentry safe lost key replacement is availble. You do need to know the key # that is on the face of the lock to cut a 1170 key by code.
