How can I fold?

Kindly follow the steps below on how to fold the stroller:
  • Use the ball of your foot to push down on the brake lever, located near the rear wheels of the stroller. Gently push on the stroller to confirm that the brakes are set. Grip the front edge of the stroller's canopy, if present; pull the canopy back towards the rear of the stroller.
  • Push the tabs securing the ends of the harness straps to the harness buckle. Pull the straps aside and remove the child from the stroller.
  • Kneel down next to the stroller's front wheels. Locate the locking mechanism set in between both pairs of front wheels. Use the locking mechanism to disable the swivel feature on the front wheels.
  • Pull the stroller's seat back down to the lowest position; some models may feature locking mechanisms located on the sides of the stroller or built into the handlebar. Lift any latches securing the sides of the stroller in place.
  • Push the handles of the stroller downward. Push the rear section towards the front of the stroller until the device is fully folded. Clip the storage latch located on the side of the stroller to the side of the handlebar.

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the steering wheel.
On vehicles equipped with tilt wheel, remove the tilt lever.
On vehicles equipped with tilt wheel, remove the steering column collar by pressing on the collar from the top and bottom while removing the collar.
Remove the instrument panel trim cover retaining screws. Remove the trim cover.
Remove the 2 screws from the bottom of the steering column shroud. Remove the bottom half of the shroud by pulling the shroud down and toward the rear of the vehicle.
Push the lock cylinder retaining pin then pull the cylinder from the column
Turn the lock cylinder with the ignition key in it to the ON position. On vehicles equipped with automatic transmission be sure that the selector lever is in the P position.
Push up on the lock cylinder retaining pin with a (3 mm) diameter wire pin or small punch. Pull the lock cylinder from the column housing. Disconnect the lock cylinder wiring plug from the horn brush wiring connector.
To install:
Prior to installation of the lock cylinder, lubricate the cylinder cavity, including the drive gear, with Lubricate or equivalent.
To install the lock cylinder, turn the lock cylinder to the ON position, depress the retaining pin. Insert the lock cylinder housing into its housing in the flange casting. Be sure that the tab at the end of the cylinder aligns with the slot in the ignition drive gear.

Front wheels on manual mower lock when pushing for awhile.

1 Locate the height adjustment lever on the inside of the left rear wheel.
2 Kneel next to the mower and push the left height adjustment lever toward the center of the mower. This will unlock the lever from the locking pin on which the height is currently set.
Read more: How do I Adjust the Height on a Great States Reel Mower? ' eHow.com http://www.ehow.com/how_6834215_do-great-states-reel-mower_.html#ixzz21NOr1e8d

3Rotate the lever toward the front of the mower to lower the height of cut, or toward the rear of the mower to raise the height of cut.

4 Release the lever over the locking pin closest to the desired height of cut.

5 Repeat these steps with the adjustment lever on the right-side rear wheel. Be sure to set the right wheel lever to the same position as the left-side wheel's lever for an even cut.

1999 porsche boxster; when opening drivers side door with key...lock mech spins free with no resistance and door doesnt open

It sounds like it could be the plastic connecting bit that links the lock tumbler lever to the rod that operates the door lock mechanism, has broken or become disconnected. To check, you will need to remove the trim on the inside of the door, after removing any screws and the inside door lever and window winder.
Once you have the inside trim off and the plastic sheet, you will see an access hole for the door mechanism and the lock tumbler. It should be attached to the actuating rod by the aforementioned plastic bit. If plastic bit appears OK try re-attaching it or replacing it if broken. If the lever part of the lock tumbler which attaches to the rod is broken the lock will need replacing.

Back wheel appears locked wont turn, was working OK, I didn't ride it for a week, battery was flat , recharged, but back wheel appears siezed.

Check that the brake is not jammed on either at the lever or at the rear wheel. Some levers have a pin you push to lock the brake.
If the brakes are OK then check there is nothing stuck in the chain or sprockets.

Seat Position Cant be moved

The manual lever to release the seat is supposed to have a spring on it to return the release lever to the lock position, if the lever does not spring back when you let go of the seat adjustment lever then you know there is a missing, dis-connected, or broken return spring.

If this is the case try putting the seat where you want it to be and make sure that the adjustment lever returns to the lock position, now check to see if the seat will lock in with the adjustment lever in the lock position.

If it does lock in repair or replace the return spring.

Make sure that the adjustment lever is attached to the locking linkage and it does move the locking mechanism.

If it still does not lock into place then there is something wrong with the seat locking mechanism, and some WD-40 sprayed onto the seat rails and track might release a stuck mechanism, and if everything seems to be working alright, and you can see that the locking mechanism in the seat rail is moving in and out of the lock position, then the locking tabs are most likely sheered off and you will need to replace the seat.

Also look under the drivers side seat and compare the lever position and the linkage connections with the passenger side seat, and make sure that it is all operating like the drivers side seat.

Tilt Steering Wheel lever appears broken - locked in up position - what is involved in repair or replacement? 97 T&C

This is a simple mechanical issue (no electronics involved).

Remove the plastic housing from around the steering column and ignition area. It is held with screws from under the column area. There are two screws from the top that you may need a short screwdriver to reach. Some are phillips and some are hex head. Just take your time it will come.

Once open you will see interlocking teeth or "gears" on the top of the column. One in mounted to the column the other engages into the tilt release teeth. This is the tilt mechanism. The top lever is lifted up by the adjusting lever. When the teeth are disengaged the wheel can be moved up and down.

Look to see the linkage is intact from the lever to the top gear. Pull the adjusting lever to see it is working and trying to lift the top gear up.

It can stick. Use WD40 if struck. Try shaking the steering wheel up and down while operating the adjusting lever (right side of column behind the turn signal lever).

Still struck? Use a screwdriver to lift the gears apart. The wheel will tilt easily now. Move to the desired position and engage the gears again. It will now be locked in the position you want.

It sounds complex but it is not. Just take your time and it will be obvious.

Note that while working you should have the negative cable removed from the battery. You do not want to trigger the air bag or damage the electronics. With the negative cable removed you will not have a problem.

Expedition is a4x4 front axle continues to turn when in 2 wheel drive transfer has been replaced with a new one from ford

Keep on them about this problem if you have any warranty left.

Most 4x4 have the electric shift, you did not say if yours was mechanical with a second shift lever on the floor. The front hubs are electrically operated unless you ordered manual hubs.

Your hubs can rust up and remain engaged. When they do this the wheels will turn the front axle.which will turn everything including the front driveshaft.

It is possible the electric wiring to the transfer case is bad. The installer should have checked the connection. This can still be done. They should be able to unplug or remove the fuse from the 4x4 system.

If the hub is the problem, the truck may turn easier to the side that is not stuck. It may act like it is locked in 4x4 on one side and not the other. It is possible both are stuck.

Return to the installer and ask for electric tests on these parts because it is not fixed.

Headlight installation 2006 Beetle TDI

For the 2006 Beetles
FYI - The bulb for the 2006 is DIFFERENT than the 98-05 beetles
GE - H7 55w
I will start with the tools I used:
(Locking mechanism)
1/4” drive ratchet with a 10” extension and a 5mm socket.
(secondary locking mechanism)
wooden paint stir stick (freebie from your local hardware or paint store) or some long thin stick like a wooden dowel.
Passenger’s Side
This is the easiest of the two as there is not as much in your way of both locking mechanisms. If you shine a light towards the front of the bottom of the light housing inside the engine compartment you will see a small silver pin with a 5mm head that has instructions on how to lock/unlock the primary locking mechanism printed on the black plastic above the pin. Using your 5mm socket and long extension. turn the pin ONLY 1/2 a turn and take care as the pin should turn VERY EASILY. Note that the direction to turn this pin is opposite for the passenger and driver's sides. Now the light housing should be able to move slightly out of it’s seat, but it will not come more than about 1” out of the front of the car. You may have to push on the back of the light housing, as VW puts some sticky sealer around the edge of the light housing in the front. A secondary locking mechanism still holds it in place. If you look a little further back, about 3” - 4”, from the primary locking pin; behind a wrapped wire, a/c line, and the power steering resevoir; you will see a horizontal silver lever, about 3” - 4” in length, pointing towards the front of the car. Using your wooden stick, simply hold this lever down about 1” to 2” and pull out the light housing at the same time. The entire housing should freely and easily come completely out of the front of the car. Take care removing it as there are no wires connected to it and it will fall to the floor if you are not holding on to it. Just open the back of the housing and replace the bulb that is out.
Driver’s Side
This is the most difficult one. The battery location is your enemy. In front of the battery, if you look with a flashlight, you will see the primary locking mechanism. It is the only silver looking pin there with a 5mm head. It looks like the headlamp adjusters on other cars. There are instructions printed on the black plastic above it. You should ONLY turn this 1/2 a turn, and you will NOT need to put much effort into turning it as it should turn very easily. You are not done yet. The entire headlamp assembly should be able to pull out of the fender about 1” now, then it will stop as if something else is holding it. You may have to push on the back of the light housing, as VW puts some sticky sealer around the edge of the light housing in the front. There is a secondary locking mechanism that is just a simple metal lever. If you look on the back of the battery, between the air filter housing and the battery, you should see the end of the small shiny silver lever.
