Can i find all drivers for this motherboard?

The QDI site is long gone
Your best bet is to identify each of the drivers using a tool called Everest (now AIDA)
http://www.lavalys.com/support/downloads/

Run this on the computrer and it will identify the components

If that does not help, you can try the forums at www.driverguide.com
You will need to register, but its free

The motehrboard bios doesnt boot from usb to install windows, how can i update the bios to boot from the usb?

Insert your USB jump drive into a USB port on the computer containing the bootable program. Copy the information to your jump drive, then insert the drive into a USB port on the computer you wish to boot the program from.

Power on the computer. When the computer begins displaying its startup information, hit the key indicated on screen to enter the computer's BIOS (the "F1" or "Delete" keys are commonly used to access the BIOS).

Browse through the menu options in the BIOS to locate the computer's startup and booting options to locate the "CMOS" menu, which is where you'll have the option to set which devices will boot at startup.

Browse though the list of bootable option---they'll be ordered as "First Boot Device," "Second Boot Device" and so on. Set the USB jump drive as the first bootable option---your BIOS may refer to the drive as a "USB Removable Floppy Disk."

Save and exit the BIOS. When your computer restarts, your program will boot first before your operating system.

ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe Motherboard supports 1TB SATA2 HDD?

1) Grab a blank floppy, and a computer running Windows with a floppy drive.
2) Download C18E1013.zip (A7N8X-E Deluxe Latest BIOS, from Asus), AWDFLASH (Also from Asus), the latest Silicon Image SATARAID BIOS (from Silicon Image), and CBROM 2.15 (Alternative CBROM 2.15 download link)
3) Extract all the contents of everything into an easily accessible folder, preferably something like C:\bios
4) Make sure you have no other folders in this new folder. Everything must be within C:\bios, so for example there shouldn't be anything in C:\bios\BIO-003112\

5) Open a command prompt (Start -> Run, type "cmd" and hit enter, without the quotes)
6) Navigate to the folder you just created using the command "cd" (For example, if you used the folder I suggested above, you would type "cd C:\bios", without the quotes, and hit enter)
7) Now type "cbrom215 c18e1013.bin /pci 4284.bin" without quotes, and hit enter. This will take the latest BIOS for your motherboard, and merge the new SATARAID BIOS into it.
8) To make sure everything went correctly, type "cbrom215 c18e1013.bin /D". This will show a list of the modules in the BIOS. At the bottom should be a line with PCI(A), and should have "4284.bin" at the right end of that line.

9) Now put the blank floppy into the computer with the floppy drive.
10) Open My Computer, right click on the floppy drive (probably A:), and select "Format"
11) The formatting window should pop up. Check the box labeled "Create an MS-DOS startup disc" (which should disable all the other options), and click Start.
12) Click OK and close the format utility when the process completes.
13) Copy the modified BIOS file c18e1013.bin and the file AWDFLASH.EXE to the floppy disc (simply a drag and drop).

14) Close everything on the computer with the A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard and reboot it. Make sure the computer is set to boot to the floppy drive, and that you have put the floppy in the drive.
15) Type the command "awdflash c18e1013.bin /py /sn" once you get to the "A:" prompt.
16) Press enter to confirm that you wish to overwrite the current BIOS.
17) Wait.
18) Once it says it is complete, remove the floppy, press F1 (as instructed), then reboot the machine (which should happen automatically once you press F1). Now the computer should detect the 1TB drive upon booting.

Gigabyte Motherboard wont flash bios

your bios has been corrupted.

The AWARD BIOS has a similar procedure to AMI. To recover an AWARD BIOS you will need to create a bootable floppy diskette and add the desired BIOS file (we recommend using the most recent). Award BIOS's generally are in .BIN format, where as AMI was .ROM format. You will also add an AWARD flash utility (usually awdflash.exe) and an AUTOEXEC.BAT file.

The AWARD BIOS does not automatically restore the BIOS information to the 'system block' like the AMI BIOS does. You will need to add the commands necessary to flash the BIOS in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file. The system will run the AUTOEXEC.BAT file, which contains the flash instructions.

Note: 12345678.BIN represents the name of your BIOS.

Step by Step:
1. Create a bootable floppy diskette or bootable dos cd /usb drive
2. Copy the BIOS file and flash utility to the disk
3. Create an text file with any standard text editor and add the following lines

@ECHO OFF
awdflash 12345678.BIN /py/sn/f/cc/r

Exchange the awdflash with the name of whatever flash utility you are using, and replace the 12345678.BIN with the name of the BIOS file you are using. The parameters are explained here:

py = program yes
sn = save no
f = flash
cc = clear cmos
r = reboot

Remove disk and restart computer

Soltek SL-K890Pro-939 Motherboard

Hi,

When you run AWDFLASH.EXE, it will first check compatibility of the new BIOS to the one installed. Thereafter before writing the new BIOS, it will ask you if you want to SAVE the old BIOS.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
