what stopped? Does it not Spin? if so it could need a new motor. If it spins but doesn't heat up. it could just be a heat sensor in the back that needs to be replaced or a heating element. if nothing happens at all it could be the start button needs to be replaced. Turn the dryer around and open up the top back panel. should be about 6 screws. inside there will be a diagram on the schematics of the dryer.
If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heatingthe most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glowssometimes it is still not working properly.

Get a thermostat and place it in the exhaust. The thermostat should reach 160 and then shut down and drop to 120 F and start back heating to 160 again on cotton setting. You should hear an audible click when the thermostat opens and closes. If the dryer is clear of lint and blockages then change the control thermostat which is mounted on the blower housing.
If the drum will not rotate, look for a broken belt or even possibly a faulty motor. If it is a belt, it should be relatively cheap to repair and possibly easy for you to aquire the specs on the breakdown of the dryer to access the belt for installation. If the belt isn't broken, then the motor is possibly shot and I am unsure of how much ROPER parts are. Be model number and serial number SPECIFIC when ordering parts, and don't go with the "SUGGESTED MATCH" just to save money if you can avoid it, they aren't always compatible.
