SOURCE: Philips flat screen TV MODEL ID 19PFL5422D/27

I bought the television less than a year ago, so I called Philips Magnavox and they asked for the serial and model numbers. Next thing I know they asked for my name and address and Philips is sending a brand new television to replace it !!! The new one should arrive in about ten days. How's that for service? I'm very happy that I bought Philips and I will do so again. So don't forget to keep all the paper work that comes with your new televisions, especially Model and Serial numbers ! Thanks for asking , Debbie Hoffman

Tv dead during lightning

Could be minor or maybe done for but here goes. Some flat panel TVs have the main power cord with one of those small transformers built into the plug end that converts 120volt ac to DC power. Output voltage should be listed on the transformer tag. You need to find someone with a voltage tester and see if the TV plug end is showing DC voltage. If not the complete power cord needs replaced. If that checks out-- the next thing is to remove the complete TV back cover and look for fuses right near the power plugs into the TV. The fuses should blow out first from a lighting surge. The problem is how much of a surge you got. It may have damaged the power supply board in the TV which may need replaced. Hope this helps

I cannot find the place to connect power cord into the flat screen. I searched the book on line to go with the model number Philips 42pfl3603d/27 and it wasn't specific. The place where it showed is not...

I've never had this TV but from what I can find on the internet the power connector is either at mid bottom or mid top of the backside. As for the cable it should be shaped like an 8 with one half more box shape. My TV's power connecter is on the very bottom. Wish I could help you more, but without seeing this model this is all I am able to say. Good Luck.

I need a power cord for philips 15"lcd flat tv pf4110

Most of the ones that plug in are fairly generic. Try to look at say MCM Electronics who has an extensive online catalog to see if they have the cord you need.

Where can I purchase a power cord for a LG Flat Screen TV Model #32lh40-ua

Check to see if the power cord input on the TV has the same plug shape as the one that fits into your computer tower or monitor. Many modern TVs use the same standard power cord as a desktop PC or monitor.

If it does use the same cord, then you should easily be able to find a replacement cord for a couple dollars at most since that is such a common item. You or someone you know may even have a spare one lying around leftover from an old computer system.

Good luck.

Software Upgrade.

There is no reset.

If the software upgrade procedure is interrupted, the TV can get irreparably damaged.

Ring immediately the manufacturer using the phone number listed on the user manual.
