Question about Honda Garden
Honda has an oil level switch. It is possible that the switch is faulty or there is not enough oil in case. Check oil level also smell the oil to see if it smells like gas. If you have gas in the oil this problem can occur also. You may need to change the oil.

Discharge hose is too restrictive (too narrow, too long, or too high).
Electrical supply inadequate. Pump should be plugged directly into an outlet without going through extension cord, timer, or ground fault interrupter circuit, any of which can "fool" the pump's circuitry.
