Question about Samsung RS2630SH Side by Side Refrigerator
The cooling fan needs replacement and while wating for the part to be located and ordered i placed a fan behind the refrigerator so that the temp will stay low and the ice maker to work, my question is will this cause the compressor to over heat and should i turn the fan off from time to time
Well if your condenser fan shot out, i'd advise that you shouldn't use the unit but all your doing buy putting the fan is doing the job of the defective one. but your causing more stress to the compressor and system, your forcing it to "work overtime" so technically you are cutting the compressor's life
