the leak is only while the unit is operating, the problem could be that the drain holes are
simply plugged up, or that the evaporator coil is very dirty, which will
cause enough suction to keep the water from draining properly. To deal
    with this, You
have to remove the plastic shroud, and then the front evaporator cover,
which is usually held on by a number of screws. This will get you in to
the evaporator and drain pan- it is usually fairly obvious if the drains
are clogged, and they are easily cleaned, but if you are going this
far, it is a good time to check the evaporator coils for dirt, and clean
them if needed (if they haven't been cleaned in a while
, clean it. this should help fix the problem.

Why is my tongtel portable air conditioner leaking water on the floor

It actually means it is working very efficiently. The cold side is condensing water because the humidity is high.

See if there is a tank to empty, or a stopcock or screw to attach a tube to a bucket. You could also adjust it so it doesn't go quite so cold.

Delonghi PAC a120e ,why is it leaking and also is ther a filter

Don't know if this is the type issue you are having. I had my unit leak all over the place last year and found there was ice buildup on the inside of the unit. You would have to remove the cover completely in order to check this out. Also make sure the drain is clear.

Water leak from under refrigerator

Only two possible sources for a leak one is an ice maker, the other is defrost drain water. Either way it is only 9 months old and still under full warranty!! Call sears and have them come and look at it! I have seen a few of these units with cracked drain pans so be persistent if the tech cannot find a leak, have him pour some water into the pan to see if there is a crack.
good luck and save yourself some stress.. You have a warranty to cover this:)

Leaking Kenmore Elite at the right front of dishwasher

Sorry to hear of your plight. My advice is to ask for a new machine under the lemon law since they cannot get it fixed. You can also try calling Whirlpool who is the manufacturer but they are likely to tell you to work with Sears. They were out under warranty and it has not remained fixed so the warranty should carry through since you called for service while still in warranty. I feel for the tech because it is frustrating to have a problem that you cannot find a cure for be the tech should also have escalated it to the tech support line for resolution. (I was a Sears tech for 21 years)

Kenmore elite water dispenser not working

We had the same problem after 4 months. A technician came out and told us that our water line within the refridgerator was frozen and that every once in a while we'd have to take a hair dryer to it (!). Of course we told him that was unacceptable so they sent a second tech out who replaced some parts by being walked through the repair over his cell phone. He was unable to tell us what happened or details about the repair. 11 months later our water line froze again and we resorted to a Brita water pitcher.

Ruud Hot Water Heater

I suspect there is a leak in the tank and because you shut it off for a period of time, the hole sealed up with rust. If the heater is under warranty, contact your installer and show him the water spots inside the jacket. It should be covered under the warranty. If it is out of warranty, replace it before it does damage to the surrounding areas. If you let it go a while, get yourself a moisture alarm and put it next to the unit. If it should leak again, it will not stop until someone turns off the water valve. \\Good Luck!
