MITSU WD73733IT WILL POWER ON BRIEFLY AND THEN SHUT RIGHT OFF, AND THE ORANGE LIGHT IS ON CONSTANTLY EVEN WHEN THE GREEN POWER LIGHT IS ON. i SAW IN THE OWNERS MANUAL THAT IS A OVERHEATING PROBLEM, HOWEVER IF IT SITS ALL NIGHT OFF AND I TURN IT ON IN THE MORNING IT WORKS FOR ABOUT 15 SEC. AND THEN SHUTS DOWN. I HAVE DONE THE SYSTEM RESET AND THAT DIDNT HELP. THATNK YOU IN ADVANCE

    So just open her up and take a tester to it? Would there happen to be any type of fuses?

In that case the fan has stopped working. You must open the case and try to find out why: the fan itself is faulty, the connections powering is are loose, the power source is faulty.
Or maybe the thermistor located on the tubes has been burned or shorted.

    Yes, there are 5 separate fuses, but they burn only if the part they are powering has got a fault that has caused the current to raise dramatically - like a short. You need to do those tests. If you don't know how to interpret the indication of the multimeter or how to find a failed part then it's time for a pro.

Projector screen turns off after 10-20 seconds


Is the projector receiving a source signal? if not it will power itself down after whatever time you have it set to do so when no signal is present.
Just an idea?

Speaker wire colors


1991 Ford Explorer XLT Radio and Speaker Wire Colors
Pulled out the stock radio and found two plugs on the back of it. One plug had 7 wires (Power, Dimmer, Amp etc.) and one had 8 (Speakers).
7 wire plug (I could see these wires immediately from the plug):
Car Radio Battery Constant 12v+ wire = Light Green w/ Yellow Stripe
Car Radio Ground Wire = Black
Car Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ wire = Yellow w/ Black Stripe
Car Radio Dimmer Wire = Light Blue w/ Red Stripe
Car Radio Illumination Wire = Orange w/ Black Stripe
?? Don't know ?? Red Wire (No power to wire Constant or Accessory)
Car Radio Amp Wire = Blue
8 Wire Plug (Wires were wrapped in a grey outer sleeve, had to cut sleeve to get to wires.):
Right Front:
White w/ Green Stripe (+)
Brown (no stripe) (-)
Right Rear:
Purple w/ White Stripe (+)
Light Blue (no stripe) (-)
Left Front:
Light Green (no stripe) (+)
White w/ Orange Stripe (-)
Left Rear:

does it briefly light up then shut off
