Try using a ceramic hob specific scraper to removed the burnt on bits then use a ceramic hob cleaner.
Can you let me know what country you are in and I can send you alternative links.
The following link are for the uk.

311299 is the most cost effective as it contains cleaner and scraper.

I got brown marks on the top of the oven door when using the self cleaning mode. It is a white oven and now it looks bad due to the brown marks. Is there a way to get rid of these marks ?

The brown marks are caused by some food residue burning off during the clean cycle and is usually very hard to clean off. You might try using a Mr. Clean Magic eraser with some soft scrub. If that dose not do it you may have to replace stained parts.

WHILE MAKING HOT CHOCOLATE THE OTHER DAY, THE MILK BOILED OVER AND SOME OF THE MILK WENT THREW THE SLITS AT THE TOP OF THE OVEN DOOR BETWEEN THE TWO GLASSES IN THE DOOR. IS THERE ANY WAY TO OPEN UP THE...

First, you will need a heavy blanket to place the door on once you have removed it from the oven. Open the door slightly, until it stays open by itself, about 15 degrees. Lift the oven door off of the hinges and place on the heavy blanket. (The hinges may snap shut when you pull the door up and off, but this is actually normal. It takes a bit of finesse to get the door back on the hinges if they will not stay out.)

Remove the 4 screws across the bottom of the door. Next, stand the door up with the bottom on the blanket and the front facing you.(Hold the door by gripping firmly around the middle edges to maneuver door)

Now, while holding the handle, remove the 2 screws that hold the handle on, unscrewing them just enough until the handle is free. (You do not want the spacers dropping off the screws) Hold the door together with one hand while placing the handle out of your way.

Once again, grab the door firmly by the middle outer edges and lie the door down, the inside facing down. You should be able to lift up the outer panel and glass and clean the inside of the outer glass.

Reverse the above procedure to reassembly the door. You can also take the door apart further if you have stains inside the other glasses. Here is a link to a schematic for your oven door.

I am assuming the cooktop is electric. Are the hotplates the solid type, coil type or beneath the glass. Are these new to you or have you been cooking with these for a long time?

We have a kitchenaid superba oven glas top and i like to clean it but i do not know how can you help me e-mail me at

Purchase a cleaning spray. Easy-Off Glass Cleaner, Windex or Drackett Glass Cleaner are all available from local department or grocery stores. You could also use dishwashing soap. Any non-abrasive, bacteria or grease removal product would clean glass cooktops.

Spray the whole cooktop area. Allow the cleaner to sit for about 2 minutes. If you have stuck-on food, spray only that portion of the cooktop. Let the liquid sit for approximately 5 to 10 minutes.

Use hot water. Soak your sponge and wring it out. Wipe down the glass cooktop. Carefully scrub the stuck-on food. Run the sponge over the spot area at least 20 times to remove the food. Wring out the sponge and rub the remaining portion of the glass countertop

Use a terry cloth rag to wipe down the cooktop. This will remove excess water and soap.

if you have any further questions please message me back and please remember when our chat is concluded to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation Thanks again Rick

Burn mark

Most likely the brown stain will NOT come off, if the stain comes off the paint will come with it. Replacing the control panel is the option for making it look good again. Sorry to bring bad news.
