Since your printer comes with both Parallel and USB interfaces, try connecting with a different cable (USB instead of parallel). Or, try another of the same type.
If still a problem, please clarify what problem or error message or code is displayed.

First try it in different usb ports also make sure cable is working fine.Then if still same issue then uninstall printer driver from computer then reinstall from below link. Click here Aslo make sure printer spooler service is start.You can check it in services list. For that press windows key +R so you can see run or go to start menu->run type in run "services.msc" without "" then press enter then you can see services list find printer spooler service right click on it then restart it.Then check.
