Check with a DC meter on fuses to verify voltage is passing then check at the input on back side of the fridge to verify voltage is there. If yes to both it can be the eye brow or the lower control board hard to tell without further testing.

SOURCE: dometic rm2652 frige just stopped working, gas nor

Check 12V supply and fuses on lower board. If display functions okay, then look for yellow residue on back of refrigerator near burner. If yes, then cooling unit has leaked and needs to be replaced. See if recall kit has been installed, and check for 12V at both sides of limit switch. If no power on either side, then thermal link has blown, and need to be replaced, If 12V on one side, but not the other, than limit is tripped, and needs to be reset, by pushing button, or if not resetting, then replace, Check for obstructions to the bottom and top vent to make sure they are not blocked, On models with top side vent, check cooling fan for proper operation.

SOURCE: Dometic RM2652 RV Refrigerator trips GFCI

Right beside the circuit panel, there is a grill, remove the 4 screws to gain access to the transformer/battery charger. You'll see a double power outlet, one cord is from fridge, the other is from the transformer. UNPLUG Transformer cord and reset breaker.

It will take a couple of minutes for the fridge to change to AC if you have it in AUTO. If everything works fine, REPAIR OR REPLACE TRANSFORMER/BATTERY CHARGER.

Dometic RM2652 was working fine then stopped - no lights at the control panel above the doors.

Usually there is a short in the system when fuse is blown. Check the cord as sometimes mouse can damage the cord. It is a posibility.
Check power to the electronic board.

How can i stop my Dometic RM2652 from turning on and off? Is there a reset button

The fridge is supposed to turn on and off, that's what regulates the temperature. If it kept running, eventually , it would freeze everything. If its stops and starts immediately, then I would suggest the start device or PTC on the compressor has failed.

No lights inside or outside and will not work on dc either, do have 14 volts going to unit

On the back of the refrigerator there will be a red wire going from the 12vdc connection block over to the heat riser tube and will plug into a thermal switch. The red wire will have a black sleeve on it which covers and inline diode. If you do not have 12 volts at that switch then the diode is bad and must be replaced. (It is a fire prevention safety device and must be installed on the refrigerator.) If you do have 12v at the input of the thermal switch but not at the output then the thermal switch has tripped and needs to be reset. Simply press the center reset button.

Dometic rv refrigerator

I found that they rewired the 12 volt supply, red wire, thru a heat safety switch on the burner unit and it was open instead of being closed and cut off the main 12 volt supply to the control board. I connected a jumper wire around the new switch and the frig works . either the new switch is bad or too close to the heating unit.

The controls for Models RM2612, RM2812, RM2652 and RM2852 are unique to these models. They
are NOT interchangeable with any other models.
If you suspect mismatched part numbers, compare the part numbers on parts to the ones listed below
to ensure a proper match.
The RM2612 with Serial Number 41900000 or higher will have Version III controls as original
The RM2812, RM2652 and RM2852 should have only Version Ill controls as original equipment.
