Question about Frigidaire Dryers

Open Question

The dryer (Frigidaire Euro design BCEQ2152ES) is off and then suddently it turns on (by itself) the selecter of "dryeness" level change alone. After a while E68 appears and it bip. We saw that E68 was the error code for a button jam so we try to press all the push button to unjam it but it doesn't work... We also unpluged it (to stop the noise) for a while and plug it back again and the problem is still the same.

Just to verify does it also beep six times? This model has the actual pushbuttons. Press all buttons lightly and see if any release. Disengage button.

SOURCE: My Frigidaire Electric Dryer keeps giving an error code

If your dryer is the same or similar to mine (Model AEQ6000ES2) then error E68 is a stuck key on the keypad. This may be mechanically stuck or the membrane contacts. The simple solution is to replace the keypad.
I found this information by searching for "Frigidaire Model AEQ6000ES2"

SOURCE: press start button and dryer will start and stop

Howdy: The motor could be popping it's breaker once the start button is pushed. When unpluged the motor resets and the cycle starts over. But also the dryer thinks the element is too hot and resets the safety switch. The temp thermistor (overtemp sensor) could be clogged with lint or open circuit. Not easy to diagnost. Do you smell burnt wires or lint? Check to be sure the door is completely closed. It may think the door is open and not start. Doug

My Frigidaire gas dryer will turn on for one minute and then the lights start blinking and it turns itself off. it Seems to be heating fine it just won't stay running ???

I know with some models, if the lint hose is plugged somehow, that will cause the dryer to turn itself off to prevent overheating.
See if a squirrel or something stuffed it up. At least you can then rule that out.

How to reset control board on Frigidaire affinity gas dryer

Hi Friend, thank you for your inquiry!

I understand your Frigidaire dryer is experiencing a shutoff issue. It is possible that you may either have a communication error from the main control board or the timer itself may not be operating correctly. Let's try resetting your dryer by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. It is best to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn on your dryer. Confirm that the door is securely closed and select a cycle. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, you may want to connect with a local servicer who will be best equipped to pinpoint the problem. If you don't know a qualified technician, you can use the service locator option on the manufacturer site to find one near you.

Best regards! - Z

Dryer seems to take a long time to dry. I read

general rule of thumb for dryer taking too long to dry is indeed an issue with the venting, (too long, clogged, partially clogged) or perhaps even the opening in which it leaves the home has become blocked in some way, i reccomned cheking your venting before calling for service. as far as dryer sheets the would hamper the ability to sense the dryeness from inside the dryer, not the vent itself( leaving fabric softener on the metallic sensor bars within the unit itself

Frigidaire GLEQ2152ESO Dryer flashing AD

AD means "auto dry", which means the dryer is supposed to be detecting the moisture levels in your clothing and adjusting the drying time accordingly.

If your dryer is flashing "AD" and turning off shortly after the start, there is likely a problem with the mechanism designed to detecting the moisture levels. If it turns off after trying to use all various settings (including the no-heat feature), it is likely a wiring issue.
