I just got my HTC phone and somehow it has switched to the widescreen view - I have to turn my phone sideways to read and use the phone. How do I switch it back to the original upright view? I have looked through the user guide and have not found anything about it.

Most themes are downloaded as a *.cab file. You have to install them
first. Put the data on the phone with activesync, or download it
directly from your phone, go to explorer, browse to the location and
Unfortunately the gyro
in the HTC diamond only operates in certain programs like opera
mobile internet browser, when viewing pictures in album, and the game teeter.
The keyboard would be bigger if it could be rotated using the gyro but HTC did not
program it to do this. There are some free program you can download that will allow
you to do this but they also rotate everything else every time you tilt the phone.
In order to send pictures from your phone to other devices via Bluetooth, the following steps should be taken:
• Access your phones picture library
• View the picture you want to send
• Hit the menu button
• Select “Copy” from the menu list
• Chose “Bluetooth”
• Hit “Yes” when it asks you if you want to temporarily turn on Bluetooth
• Select “Look For Devices”
• Once your phone finds the device and lists its name, you select that device name
• The receiving device is then prompted to accept/reject my file
• Once accepted, the picture is sent (takes about two seconds)
Its because of the touch sensitive navigation pad (the thing that has the up down left right enter/ok controls). The 'rim' or circle of the 4-way pad is touch sensitive and is used to zoom in and out in messages browser and pictures. If it zooms in and out by it self for a few seconds after a call, then its just lag from the multiple times it touched your face, or it could be a problem with the touch sensor (if it takes much longer), in which case you would have to get the phone replaced if its still under warranty, or to the store you bought it if you still can.
The battery is
flat. If the battery is very
flat sometimes the phone will not start charging or turn on even when a power
cable is connected. This worked for me: - Remove battery - Insert power
cable/usb cable - Orange charge
light should start flashing - Re-insert battery - Leave phone charge
for a couple of hours - Turn on
Remove the battery from the mobile, press the power button, for 30 seconds.
Re attach the charger , switch on the phone. If it turns on switch it off again and reinsert the battery and check.
If none of the above steps work, you would have to take it in for repairs as there could be a problem with the power supply inside the phone , that would require special tools to open
