Question about Heating & Cooling
Shut off the AC power and allow the compressor time to reset..may be about 30 minutes. Switch on the AC and set the temp , if the compressor is not taking up in about 5 minutes, then there are many possibilites of failure.
But then my sincere advice before an attempt to DIY job is to make a complain to the dealer to avail your warranty. You are entitled to this free service and should not tamper it to forgo the guarantee on the machine.
In case there is a serious fault of a possible failure of the compressor or controller unit, you must not take a risk.
Hope this advice helps you to decide.
