How to make sloppy joes

Mmm, sloppy joes. You dice up some onions and mince garlic, fry them up in a pan with a little olive oil until the onions get all pearly, then brown up some nice lean hamburger in there with 'em, sprinkle in some chili powder you like, or you can get sloppy joe seasoning in a paper packet at the market, but it's just chili powder really. My mama used to throw in a little blackstrap molasses, that takes me back, but your mileage may vary. Add a can of tomato sauce, with the tomato chunks in it if you like it that way, mmm my mouth is waterin.
Get some hamburger buns, split 'em on the plates, toast 'em first if you like that better, ladle plenty of the hamburger mix over 'em, but not til everybody's ready to eat - it's nasty if it sits any time at all.
Mmm. Now I'm all hungry. :-)

How to cook hamburgers - temperature, etc.

Hi,

Prepare Patties

1. Put minced scallions and chopped mushrooms in bowl.
2. Add red wine vinegar.
3. Add ground beef to bowl.
4. Mix everything together with your hands.
5. Flatten the beef into four patties that are 1/2-inch thick and 5 inches in diameter.

Cook Patties

1. Set stove-top grill or burner to medium-high.
2. Preheat nonstick frying pan. The pan is the correct temperature when a drop of water dances on its surface rather than sticking to it.
3. Place patties in the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
4. Flip patties and cook for another minute, and then add sliced cheese to the tops of patties if desired.
5. Cover pan and allow burgers to cook for a final 2 minutes. Cook 3 to 4 minutes for well-done burgers.
6. Remove hamburgers from pan and place in hamburger buns.
7. Add condiments and toppings such as ketchup, mustard, sliced tomatoes, lettuce, red onions and pickles.

Water spilled down the stove top causing the oven

ater spilled (4-5 cups) on the stove top running down into the stove control panel face (where you view oven temp, timer, etc). No water ever dripped into the oven or oven window. The stove top still works but the oven, warming drawer, clock are all non responsive after three days. No buttons on the control panel work at all. What repair is needed?

Frigidaire double oven - stove top oven had a spill. The spill went through the bottom oven's door vents and is now in between the glass and I cannot get to it to clean. How can I get this glass clean?

I had a similar problem with a spill running into the vent and between the glass. I had to take the door apart clean it and then put it back together. It sounds hard, but it was just a few screws and a little time.

Lifting the top to clean spills

Hi
Look under the counter top find the bolts that secures the stove top, unplug the power and remove the top, then look around the edges of the stove top and you should see some small screws that atach the glass to the frame, remove those and lift the glass carefuly, "DO YOUR THING" and then just reverse the steps and done.

Grind beef for chili?

The food processor will pulverize the beef in seconds if you do not pulse it. Really, the food processor will tend to make the beef very fine. You can use the 3mm or 4mm slicing disc to make more of a ground beef (noodle-like) cut.
