You will have to order specialty parts like that from Clarion. Call customer support at 800-347-8667 Mon- Fri from 7am to 5pm. All you have to do is give them your model number and they will ship it to you.

You are not going to find any small part for your radio unless you go back to the company that made it. You don't have the kind of radio that spare parts for it would be laying around someones shop. this radio suggested retail is $700.00 which is considerd an investment. Please go to Clarion and by your part it is not that expensive. Thanks

It is difficult to buy one individually as it comes with the Panel. I would be easy to have the button stuck on back to the panel .
I shall give below a service tip we tried on.
1. Open the panel and remove. fix the button on the correct position and use an instant glue to fix it in place.
2. Now use thin strips of thin stranded wires - from a power connection cord- use this bit and with the help of a soldering iron touch the wires into the button and to the panel so that you have the attachment in good structural fitting.
3. Reinforce the plastic with glue to set.
Now the button must stay in place and will not POP out.
If you take care to so the job it will be as good as new.
I hope this trick works.
Good day

How I can reset a Clarion MAX385VD?

If there is a reset switch, there will be a pencil tip sized depression somewhere on the face. It will not be marked. If there is no reset switch, just disconnect the battery for a minute or so.

Park brake switch

If you have the old firmware then all you need to do is ground the parking brake wire..

if you have the new firmware(just bought the system) a toggle switch is involved:
1 - connect e-brake wire from dvd unit to the switch
2 - connect a ground wire from switch to the unit chassis(any good metal grounding surface will do)
3 - pop in a dvd, toggle the switch back and forth 2 or 3 times depending on what wire you placed where...and voilaa!! your dvd system should work in motion!!

My screen went dim and only the power button works

Most likely an insufficient ground is the culprit. Clarions are VERY dependent on a good ground. Check your connections - again...redo the ground if there's no change. If that doesn't work, take it to your local car stereo installer and ask them NICELY to diagnose the prob (probably free) if they do it FREE, buy the dude lunch $10
Good Luck

I just installed a Clarion max385vd. When we turn the headlights on, the buttons and screen illumination on the head unit keep flashing from dim to bright. Everything else is working perfect.

illumination wire does not need to be installed on this model. depending on your car, it may use odd voltage for the dash lights. Clip and tape off the illumination wire going to the harness.
