Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition for PC
The link below has the steps in Windows 7 but they should be the same in Vista.

Please follow these steps:
Just check Do you have any power settings enabled ? If you have then right click the desktop and go to properties, then screensaver, then power settings, look for hibernation and options to turn off the monitor after a certain amount of time. Maybe one of these settings got checked. you can also do the same by going into the control panel and then power options and follow the same steps.
