Question about Computers & Internet
Let me explain the procedure to format the Nokia 5800 Handset.
1) A hard reset can be performed with the usual method of typing in *#7370# and the lock code is needed.
2) If the lock code has changed, or the customer does not remember it, the following can be done to hard reset the device:
a) Power off the device.
b) Hold the two call keys (red and green) and the camera button, and proceed to power on the device, while holding the three keys (green, red and camera).
c) Keep holding down the 3 keys until after the handshake screen.
3) A request for country should now be available, and the hard reset should be complete, without the lock code.
4) Keep in mind, the lock code still remains unchanged (it does not go back to the default 12345).
Please perform the above steps to format and restore the Nokia 5800 phone to the Factory settings.
Hope this helps.
