Re: PCI Modem-Yellow color
It just means that the driver for that modem is not installed. You just need to install it's driver. If you have a disc for that modem you can insert it on the media drive (CD of Floppy drive) then right click the PCI modem and click update driver, and install the driver automatically.

that is a problem with your DIAL-up modem which is the old style, use your phone and dialin type of internet connection. so basically if you're on high speed you dont really need it, you can right click and disable. if the modem is in a desktop in a pci slot, you can actually just remove it all together. code 10 means the device wont start either due to hardware failure or bad drivers...but again, its a dialup modem and oyu're on highspeed so you dont even need it.
If you want the hardware, look in back of your PC and it will be the slot with the telephone jacks. To rremove it, unscrew and unplug it. If you mean how to locate it in the system, right-click My Computer, properties/hardware/devicemanager, and the modem will be somewhere in the list. Good luck.
