I beleive my power supply needs repair. I have opened it, and tested the fuses, and some of the leads, but i am unsure of what isnt working. The LED wont light, wont power on, no red or green. It died in a heat wave last year. I live in Canada, actually Niagara. If you are anywhere close i'd be interested in having some repairs done. thanks.

If your TV has more then 1500 to 2000 of use, chances are that the power supply is starting to fail if you have to unplug the TV to be able to turn it ON. There are about 23 capacitors that might need to be replace to fix it.
I repair them, let me know if you need further assistance.
If you are experiencing power up issues then more likely your power supply is causing it and it will need to be replace or repair and since Astar no longer manufactured the power supplies assemblies, it will need to be repair.
