Question about Fuji FinePix S700 Digital Camera
Hi I have seen this problem many times before, what has happened is that the battery conditioner & power supply, has failed an internal Vreg (Voltage Regulator), has gone "Leaky" and this although it doesn't stop the unit, drains the batteries in no time. You cannot replace this yourself unless very skilled with surface mount technology, and are able to obtain the parts. It;s my professional recommendation that you Contact a Fuji service center, and arrange for a repair. It is not an expensive repair, but will most likely cost around $75.00 - $100.00, all up. BUT always ask for a "Quote" before allowing any work to be undertaken.I say this just in case this is the tip of a more complex problem.
