Question about Sony KDF-E55A20 55 in. LCD Television
My KDF-E55A20 55 in uses an HDMI cable to go from my Comcast Hi Def box to the TV. All the Hi Def stations come in great. The regular stations have lost their color scheme.......i can see the picture but they are VERY green, some how the blue seems to be missing from the feed. If i use the WegaGate button to toggle the input from Input 1 [DVD player] back to the input 6 [the HDMI cable feed\] it Sometimes fixes the problem.......any ideas?
Some CATV hi-def receivers are known to have issues keeping up with the datastream. Symptoms from the picture going solid black to other unpredictable video have been seen. Ask your CATV provider if they can switch your brand to another manufacturer. If your cable box has component video jacks in addition to HDMI, try that too. Some boxes will output RGB perfectly but bomb out with HDMI.
