This is actually a wide spread problem with the ipod touch. First you can try to reboot the unit hold home and sleep button for 10 seconds till you see the apple logo, while making sure to ignore the power off slider. this does now work in all cases or on every network. If that does not work i recommend upgrading to the latest software or restoring the settings back to factory then upgrading. But please be sure to backup your library as you will lose data when restoring to factory settings.
If you need further assistance please feel free to follow up with a comment and i will be here to assist you. If this assisted you please feel free to rate the solution. thanks and have a great day.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding

this happens from time to time the server you may be accessing is taking to long to respond (litterally) and there is a time out when safari gives up. try rebooting ipod or get closer to the connection i suggest installing opera or another browser i think they now have fire fox or chrome. much faster connection let me know if this helps love positive feedback! and comments lol

Invalid argument

FIRST OF ALL GO TO SAFARI AND TRY TO VISIT any other website BESIDE google.com
if it connects then check the networks firewall settings.
if it doesn't then this is because of your network connection.
