You can either renew your Symantec software online or buy a fresh copy of the product from any authorised Symantec vendors.

Alternatively you can use the free antivirus programs like Avira AntiVir or AVG.

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Hi. I have this Nokia N70 for some time now and since few day I am receiving a message on the screen saying that the copy of the symantec security product has expired.

Thank you for contacting for your problem. I would be very glad to help you.

Symantec Mobile Security for Symbian is an easy-to-use two year service that provides increased protection for your Nokia N70 against wireless threats. It is designed to find and remove viruses and a built-in firewall is designed to block unauthorized access. LiveUpdate Wireless technology keeps your protection updated wirelessly.
  • Is designed to scan and remove viruses worms, Trojan horses, and evolving malicious code
  • Is designed to block unauthorized access
  • Updates your protection wirelessly during the two year service period
Since, your symantec security has already expired, your phone is not protected from any threats. I suggest that you extend the subscription by going to the nokia website. Just go to then go to support.

I hope that this helps. Please don't forget to rate this solution and provide me with your comments or suggestions on how I can improve my service.

Yours truly,

Anti-Virus paid for Norton says my Product Key is invalid

If it's expired it means you have to get a new one, most anti virus software are sold for a limited amount of time. Either way Norton is no good, I run Avast free edition and I never had any problems, you should get it too, and if you feel like having even better protection you can buy avast for life for only 65 CAD, which I bet is less than Norton.

I keep getting a message saying my account and protection has expired

It means that you have to renew your subscription to Norton anti virus.
Otherwise, if you don't want to pay, uninstall norton completely and then install AVG anti virus which has a free version.

Not Protecting properly.

Uninstall norton and look for one called Avast ... its fully functional even the free version and I haven't seen a virus get by it in my time of working as a pc tech ..... if you have problems with the serial number for avast ,let me know and I'll get one for you ....

I have a confirmation of renewing my subscription with Symantec--order number 9532099641--on August 9, 2008, but when I got on my computor this flashed on the screen that my protection had...

your symantec has been expired (this is because you are using a free software of semantec)

reinstalling it would help solve your problem and make sure to update it regulary.

thanks... :)
