Question about Frigidaire 24 in. FDB750RC Slim-Line Built-In Dishwasher

Open Question

Got a Frigidaire model FDB750RCS0. Now it was running for a couple of min then I hear a clicking sound. Thought it might be something hitting the propeller. I opened the door and nothing. Closed it and now it wont even work. Thought the breaker got tripped but not even that. Now when I had it set back to the cancel part, the Clean Light comes on very dim where as before it use to be bright. Any solutions?

REPLACE TIMER

SOURCE: Washing light flashes on Frigidaire FDB1050REM dishwasher

I'm not sure what combination of these steps fixed the problem but its fixed none the less.

As mentioned above i removed the screws at the top of the door removed the top cover. I disconnected the power connector (white) and reconnected. I removed the latch assembly cycled the latch a few times pushed the connectors on the bottom snuggly on. Reassembled the top and the replaced the screws.

After closing the door...all the lights were blinking?? No No its ok..

Place the dial on rinse only and press dry and start/cancel. This will place the dishwasher in a maintenance mode. It will cycle through all the cycles in a short amount of time.

After all of that it started up just fine. Like i said I'm not sure what part of this process made this all work I'm just putting it all out there and i hope it helps someone else with the same problem...

Follow up to my Jun 02, 2008 post. We had a service tech come out today, and it turned out that the door switch was bad. The neutral side had continuity with the door shut, but the hot side was sporadic. A new switch has been ordered.

According to the Frigidaire tech sheet attached to the door, which is located beneath the control panel and behind the door skin, the problem could potentially be a bad control panel also.

Hope this helps someone in the future!

SOURCE: Frigidaire PLD4460REC Dishwasher will not start

This is very likely due to a bad main electronic control board but the only way to know for sure is to do some electrical testing with a volt/ohm meter and the wiring diagram located within the appliance. If possible use the meter and the wiring diagram to check input/output voltages looking for discrepancies between the diagram and the actual meter readings.

You may have already, but try opening and closing the door and restarting the machine again. If the door switch is loose, you may be able to get it to make the connection and run. If it just palain won't work that way for you, you'll have to try to tighten up the connections on the switch, or replace it.

Where is deforst timer frigidarie model FUS2613LEO

When I run across a problem w/my fridge, I look up the model on this website.(see below) I can then see full diagrams for all the systems of my fridge. I can see where they are and then look them up on the internet. Check out this link, it is for your fridge, I don't see a part referred to as the defrost timer.
When my defrost timer went out, I would hear a clicking/grinding sound from under the front of the fridge. (It sounded like one of those old fashioned timers for your lights when you go on vacation). My fridge would not cool because it was stuck on the off position. This timer just shuts the cooling function off so the defrost heater can warm up the freezer coils just enough to melt any accumulated ice/frost. It does this on a cycle of say, 20 min on cool, 10 min on defrost. My fridge was actually getting warmer inside the freezer, couldn't figure that out...
It turned out my timer was behind the front lower grill(which pops off) and mounted with 2 sheet metal screws right up on the right side of the frame. when I took mine out to check it, it rattled like there was something loose in there(not supposed to sound like that). It just unplugs. Here is a diagram of your fridge, call the parts place to ask where yours is located. I replaced mine and the fridge is up and running again.

I hit the clean button in error and then cancel right away. I shut off the breaker for 15 min and the oven door still won't open

Hello there and welcome to fixya
Well you are in the right direction but here is the thing you need to unplug the oven for at least 1 hour to allow the internal reset feature to erase the previous command.
Then only after the hour is over plug in the oven then you may hear a audiable click sound simply wait 5 min then press the cancel button then attempt to unlock the door it should now open ok?
Hope this is very helpful for you
best regards mike

if it is under warrantee then fix it.
sounds like a component is over heating, probably cost couple hundred (or more) to fix it, balance that with what you paid.

Dishwasher won't drain.

No sound from pump would indicate a defective pump that is not working.

The other thing to check for if the hoses are clear is the valve that empties clear of debris such as bone and is the solenoid that controls it activating which opens the valve.

Garage Door opener doesn't operate.

Let me try this again. I accidentally posted this answer on the wrong thread.

Does it simply click then hum? or does it sound like something's moving inside? if you can hear movement inside I'd guess stripped gears. if it just hums I'd have to agree that the chain is bound somewhere. Either way it doesn't sound like it's the electric eyes to me. You should be able to bypass them if you still want to but you have to know if your model uses NO or NC contacts first.

My frigidaire plhs237zab4 (side by side)stopped chilling today at first I thought it was my freezer but its both sides & a electric motor (sound) kicks in every 15 mins and relays off (click)

Sounds like the compressor has locked up. Could be an exspensive repair. I would check your warranty you may have one that still has a sealed system warranty.
