Question about Olevia LT23HVX 23 in. LCD Television
Olevia LT23HVX not powering up. I've checked the heat sinks and there is no visible swelling. I could cycle the power and then it would operate as normal for a few days. Now it will not come on at all.
It sounds like the power supply had finally died, the top of the caps must be perfectly flat. Do you check and see if it even putting out the 5vdc standby power. Please post back with more details as to what you find, pictures will help also. Bad caps can look normal but they can have high ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance).
