Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Adcom GFR 700 HD Remote code?

If the remote is infrared (IR), you'd need the codes if the Verizon remote is not a 'learning' remote - in other words, facing the two to each other and transmitting/receiving between them. So, assuming the Verizon is not a learning remote, you'd need the IR codes. Some can be found in the back of users manuals but if not, contact the manufacturer and ask for the codes. They'll usually send them to you in a file.

SOURCE: My Adcom GTP 880 pre-amp is not turning on - it

There are several fuses inside the unit @ power supply module, you may check them. If no luck you may send your unit for repair to ebcelectronics

I have a Adcom GTP=600PreAMP.Will this unit run a Gfa=5500 and a Gfa=535 Amp at the same time? I need to power Peavey 15's and 12's,and Peavey Horns, which are all each in there own Cabinets? HELP?

Should not be a problem, just bridge them together from the Pre out.
It´s all a question of impedance matching, but just 2 amps in parallel is no sweat. Then adjust volumes on the Amps.
BE CAREFUL THOSE HORNS HAVE CROSSOVERS, THOUGH !
Low frequencies will FRY THEM !!!
Be good.

Should I repair my adcom GTP-506?

It sounds as though a remote control button is stuck or perhaps one of the remote control sensors within the unit itself. I would imagine this piece of equipment to be well worth repairing and likely the most cost effective avenue as well.

My Adcom GTP 760 Preamp/Processor produces a hum that is affected by the volume control. I think it must be a bad capacitor in the power supply but would like your opinion. I do not have a tech manual...

This is not likely a power supply problem, but is isolated before the pre-amp stage. This can be a defective IC in the preamp stage as well.

Adcom schematics are not generally available, but you may be able to isolate the problem with a little experimentation. Try to run a signal through to see if you can get the signal as well.

Please update this with your results.

Thanks,
Dan

Just buy an amp

Yes, -- the GFA555ll is a power amp that needs a pre-amp for control. A good recommendation would be GTP500 pre-amp

No remote found

If pushing the power button does nothing, the unit is probably in "protect mode". This means there is an internal problem and will require professional service.
