Paniaqua1168,

This could truely be anything. I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4425498-basic_standard_tv_troubleshooting which could help solve your problem. If this does not I also have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4425451-when_you_turn_your_television_on_and_get which concentrates on troubleshooting the high voltage power supply.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating!!

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I would check for swollen capacitors on your power supply. If this is the case let me know. Can be a very easy and cheap fix. If you don't feel up to it, then just change the power supply, but that is pricey.

Tv turns on then turns off

A security system turns off the TV to protect the other components, keep pushing the power button is not a good idea.
The TV might have a diagnosis code. Watch the stand by light, if it's blinking in cycles.
\It looks to me that the power to the red or green or both bulb is troubled. It might be a simple card or the complete tube support. The power supply for those tubes might be also damage.
I don’t think it will be cheap to fix it. If you are a Techie try to download the service manual and open it, if not it might be very complicated to it yourself…

Power button is green - no blinks / no picture / no sound

Unplug it from the wall, wait 2 minutes and plug it back in. if problem still exists, its probably the main pcb.

on the signal board replace the caps by the 5/9 volt regulators. c2p04 is the main culprit. 6 caps in total can be changed. I believe c2p05 also.
