Burnham water boiler V8 series Lockout code sensor err. whats the simple fix. reset it & it stayed on for hours but locked out again

this seems a common error to get , theres a few thing to check , but first you need to decide if you wish to take it apart or youll hire someone ,

the error means that the flame sensor isn't seeing the flame in a constant mode , but intermittently this usually happens due to electrodes needing replacement or adjustments but can also be a dirty nozzle as well

but a service tech usually cks some other less common faults these have as well

oil burners should have yearly prevent service done to keep from having these types of problems

Noritz Boiler NH-1501-DV-NG Shuts off at radom times with blinking error code 123

error code 123 is a flame rod sensor problem. Chances are the flame rod is sending a weak signal to the control unit. Check for a loose flame rod electrical connector. Peek in the flame inspection windows to ensure there is a proper flame on that side of the burner. If non of the above then try removing the flame rod and cleaning with 400 grit sandpaper or replace it with part order # SKC7448 (called an Ignition plug ELV & Packing EHK SETV)

MY IDEAL LOGIC 30 HAS FAULT CODE L2 ALMOST EVERY DAY SINCE INSTALATION DEC 2010

is boiler still under warranty?
normal warranty lasts at least 2 years
if so get ideal to send one of their engineers out
L2 relates to flame failure
either boiler has failed to ignite
or
boiler has not detected flame once lit

several causes

failure to ignite
ignition electrode/spark generator

failure to detect lit flame
detection electrode/detection lead

blocked condensate pipe
or defective condensate syphonic trap

you really need an engineer to check these components

Electric and battery working fine but gas will not come on. It keeps clicking and then the red light comes on

Hello,

Assuming this is on a travel trailer / RV, correct?

The red "check" light indicates that the fridge was not able to detect the presence of a flame from the burner area. This could be due to low LP gas pressure (causes different flame size), no LP gas (tanks are exhausted / turned off), damaged wiring going to the igniter / sense electrodes, defective gas valve, or damaged igniter / control board.

F4 fault with Vizo Plus 24. Not condensation tube as this was changed to new tube with sensors on ''blue plug'' by engineer last year when I called them out for re-curring F4 fault - new sensors are bone...

Hi, if the ignition module fires or tries to fire 4 times, this indicates the module is faulty and locks out for safety reasons because of an internal fault. The f-4 code sounds like the pressure switch was open due to condensation not letting it fire up, so the switch was ok, so they changed out the tubing. When you re-set the boiler control module, it locks out due to a internal fault. Change it out and you will be back up and running. The electrodes from the module will cause this as they come from the module. Make sure the condensate trap has no blockage at all as this can cause this problem. I am not guessing, I would replace the boiler module control that you have been re-setting. Keep me posted,
Sincerely,

sounds basic, but make sure the electrode is in the pilot flame
check the overheat thermostat is not jammed on
disconnect and join wires together for temporary override check and run boiler.
