Hi, Did you reformat and install OS to your computer? Installation unsuccessful. If so it is a hard drive problem. Your windows operating dvd installer is damage. It just the CD/DVDROM drive cannot read your DVD installer because it have too many scatches in your DVD. Just get new OS dvd installer and repair your windows 7 operating system or reinstall the operating system.

You have mentioned that you changed the Windows OS but did not mention that which is the OS installed in the computer currently. For any OS, Base System Device error will show up in the Device Manager if Memory Stick Driver is not installed properly. The Memory Stick drivers are available for Windows Vista, 7 and XP for your computer model, please download and install the Memory Stick Driver form the Sony esupport website. This will resolve the issue.

The system has been corrupted with viruses. Please install the OS to fix the issue. If your PC doesn't contain any important data, I recommend you to partition and format entire hard-drive and install the OS.

Since you have reinstalled the OS, while formatting the drivers for teh desktop card is also uninstalled.So please install the drivers for the LAN card again.
