Question about Casio Exilim EXZ75 Digital Camera
Hello! I am having trouble with my Casio EXZ75 7.2 MP digital camera.
Everything works fine (I think) except that the shutter wont work. When I push the shutter button the green light comes on, and the camera makes a small noise, but it wont take a picture. I have put the camera down to write and now I am noticeing that the green light is blinking and the (cursor?) in the middle of the screen has turned red. I have also tried taking a video put again the shutter wont work to start recording.
I must admit that all problems started after the camera got alittle damp.
I bought a three year extended plan from Target that hasnt expired, do you think that this is something a technician can fix-if you dont know how to help?
Sorry for the late reply but have just joined the web site. If the camera has got wet then that is the cause of all you issues. There will be corrosion on the circuit boards causing the unit to short out and in turn affecting the operation of the camera. Generally any warranty even extended (in Australia) will not cover water/liquid damage in any way.
