Question about Tomtom GPS
There could be few causes for the same :-
1. It could have been gone into power saving mode. Have you played with the settings. You could refer your user manual for the same.
2. If there is nothing wrong with settings, perhaps the charging cable isn't providing power to the unit and it is running on battery power ( and trying to conserve energy by diminishing the screen )
3. Be sure the cable is plugged in securely, the fuse (located in the very tip of the plug) is good, and that the charging indicator is illuminated.
4. Try a master reset.
If all of the above wouldn't solve the problem, it is more often a hardware failure .Firmware issue could be there. But, you need to get the unit repaired in both the situations.
