I would suspect a shorted cell in the battery is causing too much of a current drain, and taking out your chargers. Take the battery to an authorized repair facility and have them run a load test on it. It's either that, or a possible short circuit in the wiring harness, in which case it would take some troubleshooting to figure it out.
Check that battery first...it could be your whole problem.
If you suspect your motor is shorted and bad, read the following blog:

The issue on these is ether the motor has burned out on you or the battery is not getting enough current to turn the motor or you got a bad relay from the control panel to the motor, There is no way to diagnose this without having someone to come out to your home. But I can tell you this much my dad had one of these and his motor was the issue and when you got a motor issue in these mobility devices you might want to concider ordering a new chair if possiable. Just the parts and labor alone is over $1,500 trust me been there done that. So the best thing I can tell you is run test on the chair and if you cannot do that you need someone to visit your home to do that for you the cost to visit is like $125 bucks minium as they got to charge for there gas and there labor when they arrive. I would call the scooter store for a tech i nyour area.
I would guess it's the battery, motor, or relay, in that order. The unit will have to be tested to know for sure. Good luck, thanks for using FixYa, and hope this helps.

Jazzy charge light on chager does not come on

The red light indicates that power to the off-board charger is on. Try a different ac wall outlet that you know works. If a red or green light does not come on you will need to replace charger. Also check the condition of your batteries - dead batteries will not charge.

I tried to charge my jazzy. The charge light (red) remained on for several hours. Finally I moved the wire slightly the charge light turned green than faded to red. What is my problem? Your solution would be greatly appreciated.

Charger does not seem to charge battery. Red light comes on, fan and yellow light start up then shutdown within 3 seconds. Red light stays light. What might be wrong with the charger?

How old are your batteries? Have they been charged regularly? (ie: every night) I have a hunch it may be a battery problem rather than the charger. The batteries should be load tested with an automotive load tester, or you could take the batteries to a local service station to have them tested. If they test poorly, both batteries need to be replaced.

Pride Jazzy Select batteries not charging

If you use an automotive charger you have to charge each battery individually as they should be 12vdc hooked in series.

Clean contacts and assure yourself that each lead is charging properly. Jazzy has many different models so it impossible to know which you have. But there should be some info on the charger to tell you if your output is 24v or 2-12volt DC leads.

Jazzy has a web site and there is a member section where you can ask questions.
