My dryer comes on and spins, heat comes on but clothes do not dry. I took the front panel off, it fires up but it doesnt get hot in the the drum.

Try checking the blower wheel just behind the front panel and see if it's loose or if you spin it without the tub moving, the blower wheel is probably stripped or you have no air flow. Take the vent off the back off unit see if you have air flow there. Remove all excess lint you see anywhere

My dryer mod rex5634kq1 stopped working

what stopped? Does it not Spin? if so it could need a new motor. If it spins but doesn't heat up. it could just be a heat sensor in the back that needs to be replaced or a heating element. if nothing happens at all it could be the start button needs to be replaced. Turn the dryer around and open up the top back panel. should be about 6 screws. inside there will be a diagram on the schematics of the dryer.

Hope this helps.

The dryer turns on an spins but does not heat up.

Hello. Sorry for your trouble. On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. The fuse--which is about an inch long--is usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing. If the fuse has blown, you need to replace it. (You can't re-set it.) Joe

Kenmore dryer hums/heats up, but drum does not spin!

Depending on the type of door the dryer has, is how you approach the access of these dryers. Mostly though you yank out the filter first.Remove the 2 screws in the filter housing on top. Then use a putty knife to pop the top. Remove the screws holding the front panel on. VERY IMPORTANT! Raise the front up an inch before pulling forward or the panel clips will break! Some models have a panel on bottom. If they do then this panel must come off first. Then you remove the door springs and back off the screws holding down the bottom of the door panel. Then pop the top and remove the screws on top to get the panel out of your way. Yank out the tub. Clean the junk out (send me the coinery) oil the wheels and Idler with temp resistant zoomoil from ace hardware. Use this guide to replace dat belt Kimosabe:

Dryer will not heat and timer doesn't budge when running

First of all if this is a gas dryer you should have a tecnician fix so you have no gas problems. If not it sound like you definitekly need a new timer, that is why it does not heat up. All of your cintrols run through the time. It lets the machine know when to go on or off and get hotter or cooler depending on what type of cycle you chose. I hope this helps.

My dryer is heating up but won't spin

What you have is a broken belt. to get to the inside yank out the filter first.Remove the 2 screws in the filter housing on top. Your belt routing will be the lower right bottom picture b1563d7.gif
